Cold chain and 3PL
Cold room temperature monitoring for warehouses and 3PL operators.
Follow temperature and humidity in cold rooms, anterooms and docks in real time, with email alerts that escalate until someone acts and a history of every incident to answer your customers.
In 3PL, the goods are your customer's. The responsibility is yours.
Many customers' goods under one roof
Each cold room holds different customers' products with different ranges. An excursion isn't just a loss: it's a hard conversation.
Customers ask for evidence
The answer can't depend on a hand-filled spreadsheet. You need to show what happened, when, and what was done.
A lean night shift
A local alarm nobody hears is worth little. The alert has to reach someone who can act, and keep going until someone responds.
Where Ideal Monitor goes in your warehouse.
- Frozen and chilled rooms: the main point of risk and value.
- Anterooms: where frequent door openings make temperature swing.
- Docks: where goods wait before entering or leaving the cold room.
- Temperature-controlled picking areas: when picking needs a controlled range.
Metal walls can weaken Wi-Fi. During the site visit we measure the signal and, if needed, mount the sensor outside with a probe.
Built for the routine of a refrigerated warehouse.
Alerts that don't get lost at night
Limits and tolerance per room, up to 5 escalation levels, critical alerts that cannot be muted.
The full story of every incident
Each alert's timeline (start, acknowledgment, comment, back to normal) and a log of who changed each rule.
A silent sensor is an alert too
Notifications for sensors that stop reporting or get stuck, plus maintenance mode to avoid false alarms.
All sites in one account
When a sensor moves, its history moves with it.
The people who designed it have been inside the warehouse.
More than 25 years of Ideal Business in supply chain and WMS (Blue Yonder), across Latin America, North America and EMEA, applied to monitoring.
Questions from cold chain operators
Can I set different limits per room?
Yes: high and low limits, tolerance time and severity (info, warning or critical).
Will opening the door trigger alerts all the time?
It doesn't have to. Tolerance time fires the alert only when the deviation persists, and hysteresis keeps it from flipping between alert and normal near the limit.
How do I show my customer what happened?
With the reading history and the alert timeline. Report export is coming soon.
Do the sensors work in freezer rooms?
The measuring range depends on the sensor chosen for each point; we recommend it during the site visit.
Does it replace the controls I already have?
No. It supports monitoring and does not replace your procedures, refrigeration maintenance or contingency plans. Limitation of Liability
Try it in a real cold room before you decide.
1 sensor, 1 week of readings and alerts, cost credited toward deployment if you move forward.
